Join the Republican River Water Conservation District
The Republican River Water Conservation District is seeking a qualified and motivated professional to serve as its next General Manager. This leadership position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with agricultural producers, local communities, state and federal agencies, and the District’s Board of Directors to help protect and manage the water resources of the Republican River Basin in eastern Colorado.
The General Manager oversees the daily operations of the District and helps guide strategic water conservation, augmentation, compliance, and stakeholder engagement efforts throughout the basin.
Position Summary
The General Manager serves as the chief administrative and operational officer of the District and is responsible for implementing Board policies, managing District programs and projects, coordinating with partner agencies and stakeholders, and overseeing administrative and financial functions.
The position requires a self-motivated leader who can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong relationships with producers, board members, consultants, attorneys, agencies, and the public.
